I was stuck in a dead place. I hurt so bad, I just wanted a new face. Then one day the filth, Turned into beauty, That beauty was love. That love was you.
I walked and walked, And pictured who you are, And who'd you be. Course nobody believed or cared.
I finally got you. I got the lightness I needed. I worked day in and day out. With every scream, And every shout.
Seeing you, And then touching you, Were deff two diff things. So soft, So calm. So tiny, So innocent.
